Photo Chic

I'm no make up artist thats for sure.
This week I had a photo shoot booked for my final project at university. I took on the role as stylist and make up artist, if you can call me that.

Here is a practise session of my make up, what do you think?

I wanted to achieve a really pale clean look to compliment my collection. Beforehand I went to MAC Selfridges in Manchester and asked for some advise. The lady was so helpful and I left with two new eyeshadows and a face powder.

MAC eyeshadow - Rule matte - £12
MAC eyeshadow - Era satin - £12
MAC mineralize skinfinish natural - Light plus - £21

I'm not adventurous with my make up, I haven't worn eyeshadow since I was in high school (which is bloody ages ago) so I thought this was going to be a hard task. I bought new brushes and took my time layering the two colours and blending and voila!

Obviously this looked way better on the professional model! I'll be posting some photos from the shoot soon so keep your eyes peeled ;)

I'd love to read your comments

  1. Ouhh, I can't wait to see the photos! I really like the makeup, it's intense without being... well, really intense. It's a subtle intensity.
