Slightly different post for you today but I just had to share my wonderful day at the V&A.
As a bride to be I have wedding dresses on my mind pretty much all the time, so when I heard about the current exhibition I just had to go!
The exhibition takes you through two centuries worth of bridal fashion, its just amazing to see the designs develop with time.
Not only are you getting a great History lesson but you also get to see gowns designed by fashion royalty including: John Galliano, Christian Lacroix, Vivienne Westwood and Vera Wang...Tempted?
My favourite dress of the exhibition was Galliano's dress for Kate Moss. I can not put into words how beautiful this dress is. Hundreds of hours of work must have gone into the embroidery alone. Oh I wish I could have Kate Moss dress for my wedding, If only I was her size!
(Sorry couldn't take any photos at the exhibition)
The Wedding Dress book - V&A - £20
Have you been to the exhibition, which dress was your fave?
