My favourite products of 2016

Hi Cherubs!

I actually can't believe the time has come for me to write this post, seriously where has this year gone? I've had a pretty good blogging year and I'd thought I'd sum it up with 5 of my fave products that I have discovered and could not live without.

beauty products, review, hair oil

Dr Brandt, pores no more, face primer, review

Dr. Brandt - pores no more - primer | Possibly my favourite discovery this year and a major life saver in my skincare/make up kit, this primer mattifies my skin completely and minimises the look of my pores, basically the perfect base for make up or even a no make up day. Its heaven and i'm so close to running out so will definitely be stocking up asap. Read my full review here and buy here

Aēsop hand balm, beauty, product review

Aēsop - reverence aromatique hand balm | This is my first ever purchase from Aēsop, I often walk past an Aēsop shop/counter and i'm instantly drawn in by the gorgeous smells and the beautiful packaging. A bathroom full of these products is the ultimate house goals, but until I can splurge on that I started off with this lovely hand balm, its super moisturising and doesn't leave a sticky residue like most creams. Dr Dennis Gross, Retinol, Beauty product, review

Dr Dennis Gross - ferulic acid + retinol brightening solution | Possibly the biggest beauty must have this year is a retinol treatment, I researched a lot of different products and decided to try this one by Dr Dennis Gross after reading lots of great reviews. I apply two tiny drops to my face every night and not only does the texture of my skin feel smoother but my overall complexion is much brighter by morning. Check out my full review here and buy here

Mario Badescu, drying lotion, blemish, acne solutions

Mario Badescu - drying lotion | This product will always have a special place in my skincare routine, after hearing great things about this drying lotion I caved and haven't looked back since. As soon as I notice a naughty little spot about to invade my face I pop this on using a cotton bud and by morning it has dried the pesky blemish out. Read my full review here and buy here

ouai, hair oil, hair care, product review

Ouai - hair oil | I definitely couldn't leave this hair oil out of my favourites for 2016! I use this product every time I wash my hair and I could not be without it. Once my hair is all washed I apply two pumps of oil to the damp ends of my hair, once I've styled my hair it looks soft, smooth and shiny but most of all its much more manageable. I really think everybody needs this oil in their lives pronto! Read my full review here and buy here

And thats my top 5 products of 2016, I hope you all enjoyed reading about them! There won't be a beauty post next week as its basically Christmas and i'm giving myself some time off, but they will resume in the new year!

Love Sarah
